At CAPCIL, we are dedicated to fostering personal and community development. Through our tailored coaching and support, we empower individuals to reach their fullest potential, while also strengthening the bonds within our communities for a brighter future.
Life Coaching for Families
We believe that everyone is capable of achieving extraordinary things - no matter your age, education, or abilities. Our Personal Development Coaches work with you weekly on overcoming obstacles that prevent you from achieving your goals and dreams. Our Coaches work specifically with our Head Start, Early Head Start, Hand Up Project, and Strengthening Working Families Initiative families. Contact your local CAPCIL office to meet with a Coach today!
GrowMe Mobile App
After going through a period of extreme poverty and several Strategic Planning sessions with the CAPCIL Leadership Team, Former CEO, Alison Rumler-Gomez began the development and authorship of a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Tool called GrowMe. This tool is now in full implementation under CAPCIL's Personal & Community Development Department.

Our scholarships support a variety of educational paths to help you achieve your career goals.
- 2-year college or 4-year university
- Vocational or trade school
- GED
- Program or school must be in Illinois

Requirements
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must complete:
- Full application packet,
- One-page essay outlining their goals
- Reference letter

Who Qualifies
To qualify for a scholarship, applicants must meet several criteria:
- Must be a resident of our service area (Dewitt, Fulton, Logan, Mason, Menard or Piatt Counties)
- Demonstrate income eligibility
- Enrolled or registered in an accredited associate’s, bachelor’s, or trade program.
For those applying for the GED scholarship, proof of passing grades on practice exams is required. We are committed to supporting individuals who are ready to pursue their educational and career goals!
