It is the mission of the Development Department to champion and promote economic independence, by connecting community and agency, in order to generate additional financial resources for the expansion of services.

Unrestricted donations= BIG IMPACT

  • Provides first class education to children in our community currently living in poverty.

  • Gives undergraduate & technical training scholarships to those who could never afford a higher education.

  • Offers transportation to those that are homebound

  • Delivers meals to seniors in our community who would otherwise go hungry.

  • Teaches job training and financial literacy classes that help our customers successfully escape and break the cycle of poverty. 

  • FGP candidates must be 55 or older and must meet income guidelines

  • FGP candidates must be able to serve 20, 30 or 40 hours per week in a classroom setting

  • FGP candidates must enjoy working with children

  • FGP candidates receive a tax free stipend, pre-service orientation, training, and recognition for their service.
