The Foster Grandparent program connects role models like you with young people with exceptional needs. Enrich your life while enriching the lives of others. AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers who serve with in the Foster Grandparent program provide the kind of comfort and love that sets a child on a path to a successful future.

Qualifications

  • FGP Candidates must be 55 or older and must meet income requirements
  • FGP candidates must be able to serve a minimum of 15 hours per week in a classroom setting
  • FGP candidates must enjoy working with children
  • FGP candidates must pass a background check and health physical
