Jobs for Life:
Become employable for the rest of your life!
If you are unemployed or under-employed, the Jobs for Life class can assist you in building skills needed for employment to provide for you and your family.  JFL is not just about finding a job, it is identifying your purpose and skills to become employable for life!

As a graduate, you will:
Be prepared for job interviews
Create a professional resume
Complete a vocational plan
Be eligible for scholarships to learn a new trade or degree
Meet with local employers
Build a supportive network
Identify roadblocks that may be keeping you from retaining or getting a job.
Jobs for Life is much more about finding a job, it is a choice to start “fishing!”

We have all heard the saying; "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime." Do you always feel like you are swimming against the stream? Many social service programs available to families are often "quick fixes" and do not solve the endless cycle being trapped in poverty. CAPCIL no longer wants to be a "quick fix". After some major re-grouping, we now have services to teach you to “fish” and provide you with the tools you need to move from being dependent on service aids to becoming self-sufficient. The goal of these programs are to give you a “Hand Up”. Only you can decide if you want to go fishing, or continually swim against the tide!
